How it all began
It all began in the narrow streets of Gamla Stan.
We’re Malva and Astor — two siblings who grew up surrounded by stories from the Old Town, where our grandparents once lived.
Stories of things that happened here.
And the people who once lived their lives in these streets.
And we wanted more people to hear them.

The ghost walk we always wished existed
After going on countless city tours, both in Sweden and abroad, we decided to create our own.
Not a typical guided tour.
But an experience.
A ghost walk through Gamla Stan where you don’t just listen — you step back in time.
Where history becomes an experience
That’s where the idea began to take shape.
We wanted to take all those stories we’d heard and turn them into something more.
To tell the story of this place in our own way — more exciting, more alive, and far more fun than a typical guided tour.
We started with our friends.
Then their siblings.
And suddenly, parents wanted to join too.
That was never the plan.
But now so many people have taken part in our ghost walk that we can confidently say:
it’s for everyone.
Made for children. Loved by adults.
We created it for children aged around 6 and up.
But it quickly became clear that adults get just as drawn in.
Genuinely exciting.
Just the right level of spooky.
Exactly how we wanted it to be.
Gamla Stan through our eyes
We’re Swedish, but we grew up in Amsterdam.
It’s given us a fresh perspective on Gamla Stan.
We know what truly captures your attention.
What stays with you.
And what’s worth stopping for.
